Project information and how-to may be found on the KDE TechBase page on OpenSolaris. This includes installation and build information as well as project management things.
The KDE4 on OpenSolaris project creates specfiles with which to build the KDE4 stack on OpenSolaris. This is done in a Mercurial repository. You can browse the repositories here or go to a specific version (e.g. KDE 4.6.0 specfiles).
Note that all of these repositories are publicly writable if you check out over HTTPS. That means that contributing is as easy as hg clone ; hg commit ; hg push, but we strongly suggest you join up in #kde4-solaris on Freenode IRC (there is also #kde-solaris, which is for the Solaris10-oriented project).
The package repositories store binary releases in IPS form for supported OpenSolaris and OpenIndiana versions. See the KDE TechBase page for OpenSolaris for information on installation. You can browse the package repositories here or examine a specific version repository (e.g. KDE 4.5.3 packages).
Specfiles: The Mercurial specfile repositories are writable. Do check up with the IRC channel before you do things, though, to avoid frightening people.
TechBase: KDE TechBase is a wiki. You can improve the KDE4 on OpenSolaris pages yourself if you find errors. You will need to register for TechBase, though.
